Repair Estimate Disclaimer

1. Definitions & Terms. References to “us”, “we” and “our” refer to SEKI GADGETS and references to “you” and “your” are references to you, the person addressed on this Repair Estimate. References to “device” refer to the smartphone, tablet, laptop, screen, motherboard, console or any other device that is the subject of this Repair Estimate. References to “service” and “services” refer to the repair service/s or diagnostic service/s described in the Repair Estimate.

2. This Is An Estimate. This is an estimate and is not a quote. Due to the unpredictable nature of our repair services we do not provide a quote. Any offer, suggestion or indication of repair pricing both written or verbal, including those displayed on any of our digital platforms are purely an estimate. This is not a fixed price and may change. For all legal purposes and definitions, this is an estimate.

3. Pricing. Unless stated otherwise, the estimated repair cost includes taxes, parts, and installation.

4. Device Inspection. Any estimate provided by us is strictly subject to visual inspection and diagnostic testing prior to acceptance. Prices are not final and are subject to change pending discovery and complexity of the repair. Any faults or damage determined with the device after the estimate has been approved will be subject to a new estimate requiring your approval.

5. Repair Agreement. Any services performed are subject to our Repair Agreement.

6. Loan Device. Subject to approval and availability, you may be entitled to a loan device for the duration of your repair. Use of a loan device is subject to our Loan Device Agreement.

7. Repair Warranty. Any services performed are subject to our Repair Warranty.

8. Your Privacy. By using our services you agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy, which sets out the terms on which we process any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us. By using our services, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

9. Typographical Errors. In the event that we have mistakenly listed a product or service at the incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product or service listed at the incorrect price. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we shall issue a refund to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

10. Expiry. This estimate is valid for a period of 10 calendar days after which it will expire and a new estimate may be required. It will be at our discretion to continue with the existing estimate or require a new estimate which may require another diagnostic assessment at an additional charge.

11. Estimated Completion Date. Any time estimate specified for completion of the service is an estimate only and does not form any obligation under the terms of this Agreement. We will not be liable for any damages resulting from a delay of completion time. In general, our express Phone Repairs are completed within 1 hour. Most other repairs take 1-2 business days. Special repairs take between 3 – 14 business days. These are for estimation purposes only.

12. Deposits & Pre-Payment. We reserve the right to request a deposit of up to 100% of the estimated repair cost before any work is completed. If we require a deposit or upfront payment we may request this from you prior to or after acceptance of the estimate.

13. Approval. By accepting an estimate, both written or verbal, you agree to the outlined work being completed and will be liable for all costs resulting from such work. You also agree to our Repair Agreement and Repair Warranty.

14. Device Delivery. Unless agreed otherwise, you are responsible for all costs in getting your Device delivered to SEKI GADGETS. Address details for delivery are provided as follows:

15. Support Hours. Our SUMMER opening hours are 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 6pm on Saturdays and 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays during WINTER. We are closed on Christmas Day, New Years Day and Canberra Day.

16. Variation. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms at any time.

17. Governing Law. This Agreement is governed by the Laws of Australian Capital Territory, Australia. The Parties hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian Capital Territory courts in relation to any dispute arising from or in connection with this Agreement.

18. Agreement. This agreement does not need to be signed to apply. We may however at our discretion request you to sign this agreement. Reading, agreeing to services (even without reading the agreement) or otherwise accepting repair of your device shall execute this agreement into effect.
