Following are our mail-in instructions for sending your device to us. Please DO NOT send your device until you have received an email with your TICKET NUMBER. In case you did not receive it, please check your promotions/spam/junk email folders or get in touch with us so we can step in and help.
Important Steps
Before sending your device to us:
Ensure that you have prepared your device for service by following our Device Service Preparation Guide.
Packing Your Device
Please DO NOT send chargers, power packs, cables, SIM cards, SD cards, cases, covers and/ or accessories unless instructed to do so. Please send the device itself only. You’re welcome to check with us if you are unsure.
For Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS3, PS3 Slim, PS3 Super Slim, PS4, PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro, Ps5, PS5 Slim, PS5 Pro consoles, it is recommended you wrap the console in a good layer of bubble wrap and package it in a small suitcase sized box. Australia Post has box size ‘Extra Large’ which is suitable. The original box of the console can also be used if it is still in a good and sturdy condition (it will be returned to you on return).
For Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch OLED, Nintendo Switch Lite or similar handheld gaming consoles, it is recommended the consoles be wrapped in a good layer of bubble wrap or placed in it’s protective case then wrapped in a good layer of bubble wrap and placed in a shoe-box sized box. Australia Post has box size BX1 which is suitable.
For iPhones or other branded smartphones, it is recommended the unit be wrapped in a good layer of bubble wrap then placed in a good layer of bubble wrap then placed in a shoe-box sized box. Australia Post has box size BX1 or BX6 which is suitable.
For iPads or other branded tablets, it is recommended you wrap the console in a good layer of bubble wrap and package it in a large shoe-box sized box. Australia Post has box size BX2 which is suitable.
Additional tips to ensure safety and security of your device during transit:
- Avoid using pre-paid postage satchel envelopes as they are susceptible to crushing damage;
- Wrap your device with plenty of soft bubble wrap, ensuring that it covers all sides;
- Use soft foam chips or balled paper between your device and the packing carton;
- Package your device well and be sure to put extra packing tape over the carton seams and flaps.
Sending Your Device
IMPORTANT: When sending your package with AUSTRALIA POST, please ensure you include your TICKET NUMBER, name, return address, contact number, and add delivery tracking WITHOUT SIGNATURE. Transit damage/lost freight insurance is optional but highly recommended.
Take your packaged device to your nearest Australia Post Office and mail it to our secure Australia Post parcel locker address below.
